UNESCO Global Education Coalition

Education has been disrupted vastly due to the Covid-19 situation. This has been resulted in exacerbating learning inequalities across the globe. That is why UNESCO launched the Global Education Coalition. It is a multi-sector partnership to meet the urgent need worldwide for continuity of learning on an unprecedented scale.

The member of the Global Education Coalition are currently engaged in over 70 countries across the world. They are targeting 400 million learners and 12.7 million teacher beneficiaries – directly and indirectly.
