After your COP has been created, the purpose of the incubation phase is to establish a fully-functioning innovation ecosystem.

In this context, the COP incubation phase is about developing the relationships and the co-creation process. This is when the individual COP members start to come together into a community.

The incubation phase is when opportunities are explored. First action and innovative projects may emerge inside the innovation ecosystem of the community of practice.
